JHS905’s Top 5 Video Games 2015

Hi! I’m JHS905 and today, I’m going to tell you 5 video games that I have ranked from 5 to number 1. Now these games are games that I have played. So please, no fighting if your game isn’t on my list. Now then, let’s start with number 5.

#5: Super Mario All-Stars

Super Mario All-Stars is an awesome game and deserves to be on my list because the graphics are pretty cool and the gameplay is not just awesome, but challenging. When I first played this game, among the four games that was in it, I played the first Super Mario NES game, Super Mario Bros. I had fun playing it and even though I couldn’t beat it, I had boatloads of fun playing it along with the other Mario games that came with Super Mario All-Stars.

#4: Super Metroid

Super Metroid was a game that had awesome gameplay and graphics, and was very challenging. I won’t spoil some of the game but when you face Ridley for the second time, as well as Kraid and the other two bosses, bring you’re A-Game. Besides the bosses, there was a cool feature in the game that I liked: exploring and finding item pickups. Also, when you complete the game at a very good rating, at the end of the credits, you’ll get a very nice reward for getting that very good rating.

#3: Super Smash Bros. Brawl

There was a tough time deciding which Super Smash Bros. game would fit this slot on my list (excluding the one for Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS). So I picked the one for the Wii: Brawl, because not only did it feature Sonic for the first time, it also featured a very cool story called The Subspace Emissary. Despite all that, Super Smash Bros. Brawl will go in my books as the best Super Smash Bros. game I have ever played. That is, until I play the new one for either Wii U, 3DS or both.

#2: Soul Blazer

Soul Blazer is a Super Nintendo game released in North America on November 27, 1992, was developed by Quintet and published by Enix. It is an Action RPG game that is about defeating monsters and liberating the people of a kingdom known as the Freil Kingdom. It’s pretty cool, the graphics are pretty awesome and the gameplay is very challenging. I would recommend getting this Super NES game if you’re into Action RPGs.

And now!

#1: Shadow Man

This game is unbelievably awesome. Why, you ask? Well, let me list some things in this game that aren’t in the games I put on this list beforehand:

1. Exploding bodies,
2. Blood and gore,
3. Cool sound FX,
4. An awesome soundtrack,
5. Awesome gameplay,
6. Sweet weapons (voodoo and non-voodoo),
7. A cool storyline
8. The ability to turn yourself into a dog or a duppie (spoiler alert!!!)
9. Two endings that depends on if you succeed or fail to destroy the final boss (spoiler alert yet again)

If those don’t convince you to buy the game, then I don’t know what will. Basically, in a nutshell, you must save the world before a guy named Legion sends his army from Deadside (the world of the dead) to Liveside (the world of the living, our world). It was originally for the PC, N64, Dreamcast and PlayStation (sucky port due to its poor graphics); it is now avaible for PC (once again) and, for the first time, the Mac. I would recommend getting this game if you like violence and gore or just want to play a game that contains a pretty interesting story.
